As the solo developer behind the scenes, I want to personally give full credit to this community—you are the reason this project is still alive, evolving, and running smoothly today.

The Evolution of MeowCore Wrath

During the initial development of our Wrath Core (MeowCore) back during the pandemic, I chose to build upon AzerothCore (AC), a fantastic open-source project. It was a massive success, allowing us to implement features like PlayerBots and other systems highly valued by the community.

However, I want to be transparent about our current technical direction: MeowCore no longer mirrors recent AC updates. As time passed, our project and the AC base naturally diverged. Keeping up with their upstream changes became counterproductive to our specific goals, so I made the strategic decision to stop pulling their newest updates. Since then, MeowCore has operated as an independent base, allowing me to focus entirely on writing custom fixes and exclusive features tailored specifically for our server.

Mastering the Bot Systems

Porting the PlayerBots and NPC Bots was arguably the most massive technical undertaking in this project's history. It involved untangling thousands of conflicting lines of code and battling endless compiling errors. After weeks of relentless debugging and knocking out issues one by one, the result speaks for itself: we are now managing a fully stable, highly customized PlayerBot system equipped with its own unique features.
