Welcome to Sinmeowgra Projects!

Ready to begin your adventure? Whether you're a new player or returning to Azeroth, this guide will help you download the game, create your account, configure your client, and connect to our realms.

Follow these simple steps and you'll be ready to play!

Step 1: Download the Game Client

First, you'll need a compatible World of Warcraft client for the realm you want to play on.

  1. Visit the Downloads section on our website.

  2. Choose the appropriate game client for your preferred project or expansion.

  3. Download and extract the client into a folder of your choice.

  4. Make sure the client has finished extracting before launching the game.

Important:

  • Different expansions require their respective game client versions.

  • Keep different game clients in separate folders to prevent file conflicts.

  • We recommend using the client builds provided or recommended by Sinmeowgra.

Step 2: Create Your Account

Before logging into the game, you'll need a Sinmeowgra account.

  1. Visit our website and navigate to the Register / Create Account page.

  2. Fill in the required registration information.

  3. Use an active email address that you can access.

  4. Complete the email verification process if required.

  5. Your account is now ready to use!

Remember: When logging into the game, use your account username, not your email address.

Step 3: Configure Your Realmlist

Your realmlist tells the World of Warcraft client which server to connect to.

Our official connection address:

set realmlist logon.sinmeowgra.com

How to Change Your Realmlist

  1. Open your World of Warcraft installation folder.

  2. Navigate to the Data directory.

  3. Look for a language folder such as enUS, enGB, or another locale.

  4. Find the file named realmlist.wtf.

  5. Right-click the file and open it using Notepad or any text editor.

  6. Replace the existing realmlist with the following:

    set realmlist logon.sinmeowgra.com

  7. Save the file and close the editor.

Quick Path:

WoW Client → Data → enUS → realmlist.wtf

Note: The location of realmlist settings can differ depending on your game client version. Some clients also use the Config.wtf file inside the WTF directory.

Alternative: Check Config.wtf

If you cannot find realmlist.wtf, or your client keeps connecting to a different server:

  1. Open your World of Warcraft installation folder.

  2. Navigate to the WTF directory.

  3. Open Config.wtf using Notepad.

  4. Look for a setting containing realmlist.

  5. If your client uses that setting, make sure it points to:

    SET realmlist "logon.sinmeowgra.com"

  6. Save your changes.

Tip: If you're using multiple World of Warcraft clients, make sure you're editing the files in the correct client folder.

Step 4: Launch the Game and Start Playing!

You're almost there!

  1. Open your World of Warcraft client folder.

  2. Run Wow.exe to launch the game.

  3. Enter your registered username and password.

  4. Select your preferred Sinmeowgra realm from the realm selection screen, if prompted.

  5. Create or select your character.

Congratulations! Welcome to Sinmeowgra! 🎉

Troubleshooting — Can't Connect?

Having trouble connecting to our realms? Don't worry! Try the solutions below before contacting our support team.

1. Double-Check Your Realmlist

Make sure your realmlist is configured correctly:

set realmlist logon.sinmeowgra.com

Common mistakes include:

  • Typing the server address incorrectly.

  • Leaving an old private server's realmlist.

  • Editing the wrong game client's configuration.

  • Accidentally saving the file as realmlist.wtf.txt instead of realmlist.wtf.

2. Check Your Config.wtf File

Sometimes your client may have another realmlist setting inside its configuration.

  1. Open the WTF folder.

  2. Open Config.wtf.

  3. Search for realmlist.

  4. Check whether the configured server address matches logon.sinmeowgra.com.

If necessary, update the appropriate setting and save the file.

3. Check Your Internet Connection

Make sure your internet connection is stable and that you can access other websites.

You can also test whether our server hostname resolves and responds to ping requests.

On Windows:

  1. Press Windows + R.

  2. Type cmd and press Enter.

  3. Enter the following command:

    ping logon.sinmeowgra.com

  4. Check the results.

What do the results mean?

  • Reply from ... — The destination responded to your ping request.

  • Request timed out — The destination did not respond to the ping request.

  • Could not find host — Your device could not resolve the server hostname.

Important: An unsuccessful ping does not automatically mean that our server is offline or that your ISP is blocking it. Some servers intentionally block ping requests, even when the game service is available.

4. Check the Server Status

If your client is configured correctly but you still cannot connect, our realms may be experiencing:

  • Scheduled maintenance.

  • Temporary server outages.

  • Network interruptions.

  • Unexpected technical difficulties.

Check the official Sinmeowgra announcements or server status page for updates.

5. Still Having Problems?

If none of the solutions above work, please contact our community support team.

To help us investigate, provide the following information:

  • Game expansion: WotLK / Cataclysm / MoP / Other

  • Client version: Your exact game version

  • Error message: What appears when you attempt to connect

  • Realmlist: Confirm that you're using our official address

  • Troubleshooting attempted: Explain what you've already tried

  • Screenshot: Include one if possible

Please never share your account password with anyone, including support staff.

Important Reminders

  • Always use your username, not your email address, to log into the game.

  • Use the correct client version for your selected realm.

  • Keep different game client versions in separate folders.

  • The official Sinmeowgra connection address is logon.sinmeowgra.com.

  • Check our announcements before troubleshooting during scheduled maintenance.

That's it! You're ready to explore Azeroth with us.

We hope you enjoy your adventure, make new friends, and create unforgettable memories.

See you in Azeroth!
